I am sitting here finishing up my homework for today and I can't help but think that buying this new car is somehow starting a new chapter in my life. You see I have always been the same person, but I rarely buy a new car so its easy to break up the time periods in my life by the cars I have owned..
When I was young until I had my first stable job I owned a Red 93' Isuzu p/u truck. It was the perfect youth vehicle, small, quick, and attracted lots of attention from the cops.
Then I bought the 93' Honda Accord EX. A small economy car with attitude. Quick, smart and the perfect car for a young guy just starting out.
Now I have the 97' Acura RL which is smooth and sophisticated, well defined and says "I am smart and make good decisions". I really think this new car will help me move forward. Its a blessing to find this car.
I have been sticking to the plan and it seems to be working. So the best idea is to stick to my plan. The plan can be altered incrementally, but it must be organized and tallied. The plan consists of 3 levels; Career, Work, and Budget. As long as I stay focused on each priority, and underlying action item I will be a success.
the key is breaking large tasks into small manageable items, using time wisely, keeping notes and a schedule, and sticking to the plan.
